About Dr Strydom
MBChB · FC Psych (SA) · HPCSA Registered Independent Psychiatrist
I am a specialist psychiatrist practising in Centurion, South Africa.
I am passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care that recognises each individual as more than a diagnosis. Every patient brings a unique story, and I believe effective treatment begins with listening carefully and understanding the person behind their symptoms.
My particular interest lies in child and adolescent psychiatry, where early intervention can have a profound impact on long-term wellbeing and development. At the same time, I enjoy working with adults and older individuals, supporting patients through every stage of life.
My approach is collaborative and holistic. I work closely with patients and, where appropriate, their families, schools, psychologists, general practitioners and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each individual's needs.
I strive to create an environment where patients feel safe, respected and empowered to participate actively in their care.
My aim is not only to reduce symptoms but to help my patients build resilience, strengthen relationships, improve daily functioning and create lives that are meaningful to them.

"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart."
Ecclesiastes 3:11
The word Kairos appears throughout the New Testament as God's appointed, perfect time — distinct from ordinary clock time. At Kairos Mind Wellness, we believe that healing unfolds in God's timing, and that every step toward wholeness is part of a purposeful journey. Our work is grounded in this hope: that transformation is always possible, and that you are here at exactly the right moment.
